Becoming a Certified Metaphor Mapping Facilitator

Only certified professionals are licensed to conduct Metaphor Mapping workshops or purchase Metaphor Mapping materials.  For those seeking to lead their own Metaphor Mapping workshop, we provide certification training for in-house or commercial consultants.  We offer two certification levels to accommodate your budget and facilitation experience.

 

Alternate Paths to Metaphor Mapping Certification 

Master Certification

  • There are two alternative methods for obtaining Masters Certification:
    1. Attending an in-person, 2-day training course at the Metaphor Language Research Center
    2. Personal coaching and acting as assistant facilitator in an in-company workshop
      – Note that multiple consultants in the same company may be certified in a single workshop
  • Best for: internal consultants and larger professional services firms

 

Associate Certification

  • Attend webinar training sessions supported by telephone-based coaching
  • Best for:  smaller professional services firms and experienced individual consultants
